Eyebrow: Manufacturing & Industrial
Custom software and B2B enquiries, built for manufacturers
We align every requirement, user, approval and price before we build — so industrial projects actually go live. From a live shop-floor incentive platform to a steady pipeline of qualified B2B enquiries you own.
A 20–30 minute call with a co-founder. Tell us where growth or operations are blocked.

Why industrial projects stall — and it’s rarely the code
In a manufacturing business, no decision is made by one person. The owner sets direction. A GM-IT or plant-IT lead champions the project and has to show a working system upstairs. Production and plant heads own the process you’re about to change. HR owns payouts and people. The CFO signs. Procurement runs the PO. Sales, dealers and the export desk carry the revenue.
Most industrial software and growth projects don’t fail on technology. They fail because the requirement, the users, the approvals and the commercial scope were never aligned before the build began. A production team’s real reporting need surfaces four months in. Scope creeps. The bill drifts past the PO. The champion is exposed in front of the MD, and a working project gets relabelled a vendor failure.
So we start where the last vendor didn’t: getting every stakeholder into one written requirement before a single line is built.
Two things leak in a manufacturing business
Most manufacturers we meet are losing ground in two places at once — and hiring two different vendors to fix them.
Growth leaks at the top. Rented visibility on a directory is not the same as owning your presence. Serious buyers search for a grade, a spec, a capacity or a certification — and judge you in seconds. Enquiries arrive unqualified and go nowhere. Your sales team has nothing technical to send an OEM, a distributor or an export buyer.
Operations leak inside. Incentives, hours, testing and production numbers live in Excel and a legacy DOS screen. Approvals happen on paper and WhatsApp. Every month is a manual rebuild, every figure is arguable, and there’s no audit trail. Price a full ERP for that one process and the quote comes back too heavy for the thing that’s actually hurting.
We work on both — one accountable team, around one connected problem.
Track 1 — B2B demand generation for a technical buyer
Your buyer is cautious and specification-led, so we build for credibility and intent, not vanity clicks:
- A manufacturer-grade website on your own domain — plants, capacities, grades, certifications and downloadable catalogues — built to convert a technical evaluation into an enquiry. (See Websites & Digital Experiences.)
- Technical SEO and content that ranks for what buyers actually search — the spec, the application, the standard — so you’re found on your terms, not rented on someone else’s. (See SEO, Content & Social.)
- Google and Meta lead generation wired to clean tracking and WhatsApp follow-up, tuned to a disciplined cost per qualified enquiry — dealer, distributor, OEM and export. (See Performance Marketing and Data, CRM & Automation.)
The goal is qualified enquiries you own — captured, tracked and followed up — not directory noise you pay for and never keep.
Track 2 — Custom workflow software for the shop floor
When a core process lives in spreadsheets and a DOS window, it can’t scale and it can’t be trusted. We build custom software around how your plant actually runs:
- Piece-rate, incentive and hours logic that matches your real formulas — across multiple shifts, machines and departments.
- Role-based, multi-level approvals so numbers are entered once and signed off in order — with a full audit trail.
- Dashboards and automated reports for plant heads, functional heads and HR, plus scheduled backups and restore.
- Configured to your process, hosted on your server or cloud — right-sized to the one process that’s hurting, live in weeks rather than a multi-year ERP rollout, and built to integrate rather than rip-and-replace. (See Custom Software & AI Systems.)
The method that stops the project stalling
The reason earlier vendors fail is almost always un-scoped requirements. So our first step is paid discovery, not a rushed build.
- Align. We sit with every stakeholder — production, HR, plant and IT, finance — and turn their needs into a written requirement, an agreed approval hierarchy and a frozen scope with commercials settled before development starts.
- Prove. We ship a small working version, proven in real use, before we expand — so adoption is earned, not assumed.
- Govern. New needs are handled as scoped change requests with sign-off and separate commercials. No surprise bill five times the PO. (Start with the Custom Software Requirements Workbook or talk to us about Strategy & Digital Consulting.)
Proof: a production-incentive platform, live across the plants
For a Satna-based cable and conductor manufacturer, we replaced manual, Excel-based incentive calculation and a legacy DOS application with a role-based production-incentive platform.
- Six operational sections (incentive, hours, testing, capacitor, rubber-mixing and more) — each with its own entry, calculation and approval flow.
- A five-level approval hierarchy, from shift in-charge up to HR, plus role-based dashboards for plant and functional heads.
- The client confirmed in writing that the enhancements were “successfully implemented… now active in the system” — live in production, computing incentives for real shop-floor workmen.
- Conservatively, we estimate the workflow now releases on the order of 876 person-days of repetitive effort a year — an estimate based on roughly six people × 365 days × a 40% direct-time reduction. That’s work capacity released back to the team, not a cash saving.
Around 70 client change requests were absorbed through the governed process, and Phase-1 closed cleanly on a purchase order with the relationship intact and a further roadmap under discussion. (Read the anonymised Manufacturing PIMS case study.)

You own what we build
The code, the database, the ad accounts, the domain, the logins — yours from day one, subject to contract and full payment. Build once, own forever, with no lock-in. Delivery is founder-led, so you talk to the people who build, not an account-manager queue — and selected client relationships have continued for more than two years. Add an optional care-and-maintenance plan for ongoing support.
Questions manufacturers ask us
“Do you actually understand my industry?” We start by understanding your process, not assuming it. The discovery step exists precisely so we capture your incentive logic, shifts, machines and approval chain in writing before we build — the step earlier vendors skipped.
“We’ve been burned by a software vendor before. Why is this different?” Scope is frozen with every department up front, we prove a small version before expanding, and every later change is scoped and signed off. That’s how a stalled industrial project gets to “live and active.”
“Is Digiator a marketing agency or a software company?” Both — around one problem, with one accountable team. We combine growth, technology, data and custom software so your enquiry problem and your systems problem aren’t handled by two vendors who never talk.
“Isn’t a full ERP the answer?” For one specific, painful workflow, custom software is faster, lighter and right-sized — it goes live in weeks, and we build it to integrate with what you already run, not replace everything.
Tell us where your growth or your operations are blocked
Bring us the enquiry problem, the shop-floor process, or both. On a short call, a co-founder will help you see where it’s leaking and whether there’s a genuine fit — no pressure, just clarity.
