Government, NGOs & Public-Sector Programmes

Serve every citizen. Prove every outcome.

Public programmes are judged twice — by the people they serve and the people who fund them. Digiator builds the communication, portals, dashboards and reporting that help you reach beneficiaries and show funders, ministries and boards exactly what your programme delivered.

A 20–30 minute call with a co-founder — no obligation. We usually respond within one hour.

You answer to more people than a business does

A shop has one audience: its customers. A public programme has several, and they pull in different directions.

Citizens and beneficiaries need services they can actually reach — often in more than one language, on an entry-level phone, sometimes on a weak connection. Funders, ministries and boards need proof: coverage, spend, outcomes, and a report that holds up when someone checks it. Field staff need tools simple enough to use on a busy day. Auditors need a trail.

Most digital projects are built for only one of these audiences and retrofitted for the rest. The accessibility fix is added after launch. The report is stitched together by hand at quarter-end. That is where public digital work quietly comes apart.

We work the other way round — designing the citizen experience, the accountability and the reporting as one system, so the portal people can use is the same system that produces the report your funder asks for.

What we build for public programmes

Citizen & beneficiary communication. Awareness, enrolment and behaviour-change campaigns in the languages and on the channels your audience actually uses — regional-language creative, mobile-first pages, and WhatsApp-based outreach and follow-up.

Service & enrolment portals. Application, registration and service portals a first-time user can complete without help — accessible, multilingual, and light enough for low-bandwidth areas.

Programme dashboards. A live view across districts, centres and field teams — enrolment, coverage, activity and status — so a programme head sees the real picture without waiting for a spreadsheet.

Funder- & audit-ready reporting. The report your ministry, donor or board expects, generated from the same data your teams enter day to day — role-based, exportable, and traceable back to source. No quarter-end scramble.

Staff & field capacity building. Training and documentation that help your people adopt the system — because a tool no one uses is not a system.

Accessibility and data protection, built in from day one

In the public sector these are not finishing touches. They are the brief.

Accessibility. We design to the Government of India’s GIGW 3.0 guidelines and WCAG 2.1 AA — proper contrast and structure, keyboard and screen-reader support, multilingual content, and pages that load on modest devices and connections. Reaching everyone is the point of a public service, not an optional extra.

Data & privacy. Beneficiary and donor information is sensitive, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act raises the bar. We build with role-based access, consent and data-minimisation in mind — and you own the system outright: your code, your data, your accounts, your logins, with no lock-in.

Where our capability comes from

We’ll be straight with you about where we stand.

Digiator is expanding into the public sector, and we won’t blur the line between what we’ve built and what we’re bringing here. Our delivered public-sector experience to date is training and capacity building — the founding team has taught through a government-affiliated MSME training programme. That is teaching experience, not a completed government software contract, and we won’t dress it up as one.

The systems described above are capabilities we already run in other sectors. In manufacturing, for example, we built and deployed a role-based platform for a Satna-based cable manufacturer — six modules, a five-level approval workflow, and an audit trail on every entry, confirmed by the client as live across its plants. Set the industry aside and that is exactly the backbone a public programme needs: many roles, controlled approvals, one source of truth, and reporting a reviewer can trust. That discipline is what we bring to your programme.

We work the way the public sector buys

Public procurement is its own process, and we’re comfortable in it. We work to your EOI, RFP or tender brief. We deliver against defined milestones and purchase orders. And we phase scope, so a small, proven pilot comes before any wider rollout. At the end, everything transfers to you: assets, code, accounts and logins.

“But have you delivered a government project before?”

It’s the fair question, so here’s the honest answer. Our public-sector delivery so far is training, not a portal or dashboard contract. Need a vendor with a long list of completed government sites? We aren’t that firm yet — and we won’t pretend to be.

What we bring instead is proven capability in the exact components your programme runs on: accessible websites, role-based software, dashboards and clean reporting. You speak to a founder directly, not an account queue. And our phased, own-it-outright model keeps your risk low while we earn the larger work. Open to that trade? A short call is the fastest way to test the fit.
