Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

This policy explains how Digiator (“Digiator”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on digiator.com, what each one is for, how long they last, and how you can accept, refuse or change your choices at any time.

Digiator is the trading identity Digiator — Website Development and Digital Marketing Agency, based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. For how we handle personal data more broadly, read our Privacy Policy. Your use of the site is also governed by our Terms.

We’ve written this in plain English on purpose. Refusing non-essential cookies here is as easy as accepting them.

What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device. When you return, the site can read that file — to keep you logged in, remember a preference, or count a visit.

“Similar technologies” do comparable jobs and are covered by this policy too:

  • Local and session storage small amounts of data your browser holds for the site.
  • Pixels and tags tiny snippets (for example, an advertising pixel) that record an action, such as submitting a form.
  • Software development kits (SDKs) provided by the analytics and advertising tools listed below.

Throughout this page, “cookies” means all of the above.

The three categories we use

We group cookies into three categories. This is exactly how they appear inside Cookie Settings.

1. Strictly necessary — always on. These make the site work and keep it secure. They handle things like page loading and security, letting you submit a form, and — importantly — remembering the cookie choices you make here. Because the site can’t function without them, they don’t require consent and can’t be switched off. When you complete a payment through our site, our payment provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to process that transaction.

2. Analytics / performance — off until you allow them. These help us understand how the site is used — which pages are useful, where visitors get stuck — so we can improve it. The data is used in aggregate to make the site better, not to sell you anything.

3. Advertising / marketing — off until you allow them. These measure how our ads perform, connect an ad click to an action on our site (so we know which campaigns are worth running), and help show more relevant — and fewer irrelevant — ads. They are set by Google and Meta.

Nothing in categories 2 and 3 is placed on your device until you consent (and, if you’re in a region that requires prior consent such as the EU, UK or a jurisdiction with equivalent rules, they stay off by default until you opt in).

The specific tools we use, and why

The table below lists the tools in our stack and the cookies each is documented to set. Exact cookie names, IDs and lifetimes depend on each provider’s current configuration and on how the tags are set up on our site — the live, authoritative list is always the one shown in Cookie Settings.

ToolCategoryExample cookies it setsTypical durationWhat it’s for
Google Tag ManagerNecessary (management)No tracking cookies of its ownLoads and controls the tags below according to your consent choices. It doesn’t track you by itself.
Google Analytics 4Analytics_ga, _ga_<id>Up to ~2 yearsTells one visitor apart from another and measures sessions, so we can see how the site is used.
Microsoft ClarityAnalytics_clck, _clsk (and MUID, CLID, ANONCHK)_clsk ~1 day; _clck ~1 year; others ~10 min–1 yearAggregated heatmaps and session replays that show where visitors click and scroll, so we can fix confusing pages.
Google Ads (Conversion Linker)Advertising_gcl_au~90 daysLinks a click on a Google ad to what you do on our site, so we can measure conversions.
Meta PixelAdvertising_fbp, _fbc~90 daysMeasures and optimises our Facebook/Instagram ads and attributes conversions.

Browsers may shorten some of these lifetimes — for example, several browsers cap first-party cookies at a shorter window if you don’t return. These third-party tools may also process technical, behavioural and campaign-related data on their own systems, under their own policies. Links to each provider’s controls are in the section below.

We do not use AI to process the enquiry details you send us through our forms. Form submissions are handled for follow-up, not fed to an AI system.

Your consent, and how to change your mind

When you first visit, a compact consent banner appears. It gives you three clear, equally-weighted choices:

  • Accept All allow analytics and advertising cookies.
  • Reject Non-essential keep only strictly necessary cookies. This is a single click, given the same visual weight as Accept All.
  • Customise open a panel and switch Analytics and Advertising on or off independently, then save.

We use Google Consent Mode. Before you make a choice (and if you decline), Google’s tags load in a restricted state that doesn’t read or write advertising or analytics cookies. Once you accept, they operate normally. We keep a record of the choice you make.

You can change your decision at any time. A permanent “Cookie Settings” link sits in the footer of every page — click it to reopen the panel, adjust each category, or withdraw consent you gave earlier. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything that happened while consent was active, and clearing your browser’s cookies or using a new device or browser will prompt the banner again.

Controlling cookies in your browser and on your device

Beyond our banner, you can manage cookies yourself:

  • In your browser Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all let you block or delete cookies and block third-party cookies in their settings/preferences. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC) / Do Not Track where your browser sends these signals and the law requires us to honour them, we treat them as a request to keep non-essential cookies off.
  • On mobile you can reset or limit your device’s advertising identifier in your phone’s privacy settings.

You can also use the providers’ own opt-outs:

  • Google Analytics opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Google Ads personalisation: myadcenter.google.com (Ad Settings)
  • Meta / Facebook ad preferences: in your Facebook or Instagram account settings
  • Microsoft Clarity / Microsoft advertising: Microsoft’s privacy dashboard and opt-out pages
  • Industry opt-outs: youradchoices.com (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU)

Legal frameworks and children

Our consent approach is designed around India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and, where they apply to visitors, the EU/UK GDPR and ePrivacy rules. Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults; where consent is required for a person under 18, it must be given by a parent or guardian, in line with the DPDP Act. How we handle the personal data itself — your rights, retention and contact for requests — is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our tools or the law change. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. If we make a material change to how we use non-essential cookies, we’ll ask for your consent again through the banner.
